I meet one of my friend friend who traveled to Croatia last year and he narrate how the economy of the country was booming and he hardly see African people over there. He said “I am surprised there no Nigerians coming to work here”. He said that there are a lot of jobs here. And that the minimum wage is 840–1000 euros. When i asked him how he get there he explained to me that he got a job through Moj-posao.net and LinkedIn platform. After explaining to me how he got this job and all processes of visa application and how he finally landed in Croatia i decided to share it here with my people. First of all this my friend got this job direct from the employer, there is nothing like agent or third party. He only leverage the the linkedin and Moj-posao job features and landing the exact job he wanted. If your still wondering how this is how he started.

Create a good CV

He started by creating a good CV . He is a website developer and do a little bit of graphic design too. So he created a CV that represented what he does with evidence of some finished jobs.

After designing his CV to his best choice he created an account with Moj-posao.net a Croatian job platform. But you need to translate the page because it is in Croatian. To do that just click on the language icon at the upper right corner of the website as shown bellow:

How to get a remote job

When you done changing the language click on job for foreigner and start applying according to the qualification on your CV. To make sure it works make sure you continue applying don’t give up.

Croatian visa application for Nigerian

If you have secure a job and planning on how to starting your visa application here is what you should do. The Croatian embassy and visa application process is through VFS global in Abuja. You can start applying immediately through their website, if you cant do it contact an agent.

Requirements for your visa processing as a foreigner

If you finally landed a job that will require you to travel to Croatia as a foreigner, here are some of the requirements you need to meet before you can live and work in Croatia:

  • You need to receive the writing contract of employment from a Croatia-based employer
  • Have a passport photos
  • You work experience and qualifications should be intact
  • Medical insurance
  • The letter of contract should bear a valid company registration.
  • Proof of fund
  • And application form.

If your a student it will be easier for you to go through school route. Just apply for any university and pay their fee you will be giving admission without wasting time.
